New York City - Film
It is said that we photograph the things that we love most. When I got these film rolls back from our trip to New York, it became very obvious to me how true that actually is. Shelby is my rock, my muse, and the love of my life. I am so happy I chose to embark with you on this journey we call life & I cannot wait for the adventures to come.
I've said this many times before, and I don't think this will be the last time that I say it, but I really do believe that the greatest adventures in life will amount to nothing if we don't have someone to share them with. Sharing experiences is what gives them value. So get outside of your comfort zone. Connect with people, see new places & meet new faces. Or just grab a familiar face & go somewhere new. Create experiences with those that you care about, and in the process you will strengthen your relationships. My closest friends aren't my closest friends because of who they are, but because of the experiences we have shared together, and I think most people can relate to that. This is why Shelby & I want to see & experience the world together, and that is why we have started this blog. We hope to connect, collaborate, & create amazing things with people along the way. We also hope to experience new things & establish new & meaningful relationships with those that we meet. So don't be a stranger! Send us an email, we would absolutely love to hear from you. We know that our Journey is just getting started, and we couldn't be more excited.
These were all shot on 35mm film (some cheap stuff I grabbed at Walgreens) using a Nikon fm10 and a kit 35-75mm f/3.5 lens. The b&w's were developed & processed by me, and the color images were developed through Acme Camera in SLC, UT.
